Term 3 at EHPS

... Book Week (including our pre-loved book stall that raised over $550 for ROOP, and our dress up day and parade); Hampers and Hay for Hope drought fundraiser and concert that raised $4,328.25; Footy Colours Day including the PFA Hot Dog Lunch; Preps celebrated 100 Days at School, had a visit from firefighters, and went to Melbourne Zoo; Year 1 went to ACMI for the Fairytales and Fantasy workshop; Year 2 explored the Olden Days including a visit to Mont De Lancey Homestead and a walk to Federal Reserve; Year 3 studied Australia's First People and went to CERES Community Environment Park; Year 4 went on camp to Taskworks; Years 5 and 6 visited the Immigration and Melbourne Museums, and completed the first Values for Life incursion; all students did the Life Education incursion; Years 1 and 4 continuing collaboration with Deakin University investigating maths and science; House and District Athletics; Chamber Choir came first in their section at the Monash Youth Music Festival; Parent teacher discussions; Preparations for Year 6 graduation, and our Carnival, are well underway; PFA ran the Father's Day Breakfast and Stall; Year 6 students going to government secondary schools in 2019 received confirmation of their placement; Visit from the choir from Chengdu Meishi International School; Reading for Enjoyment Challenge; Junior and senior teams competed in Hoop Time Basketball; Year 4 students to represent EHPS on the City of Monash JAG; and Free dental check-ups.
