Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS)

Term 3 2018 commenced with the excitement of our ARISS link to the International Space Station on Tuesday 17th July - click here.

 

 

Our twelve selected students from Years 3 to 6 had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Serena Aunon-Chancellor (American physician, engineer, and NASA astronaut, serving as a flight engineer in the current expedition (Expedition 56/57) to the ISS) on Tuesday 17th July 2018 as the ISS passed over Australia. The live stream broadcast by ARISS on YouTube (below) commenced at about 5.30pm and contact occurred at about 6.24pm.
